Managing Integrated Credentials - Intellicorp

Follow

Background check credentials are either manual or integrated. Integrated background checks are checks that are performed through our system with the aid of a 3rd party partner such as Intellicorp.

In this solution we will be highlighting the steps an administrator must take managing background check credentials with Intellicorp integration enabled.  If you are interested in this integration please contact sales@volunteermatters.com for more information.

After a volunteer is prompted to apply for a background check credential via either a project need or because the credential is globally required they will need to complete the background check credential process.

With Intellicorp, the volunteer simply needs to sign the Statement and Disclosure then verify and submit their information.  At that juncture the volunteer's portion of the process is completed.  The credential will be set to a "Submitted" status once successfully received at Intellicorp.

After the information is sent to Intellicorp and the background check is processed.  With most background checks there will be no flags and the credential will be automatically cleared and Intellicorp will update the credential in VolunteerMatters to "Approved".

However with some background checks it will require administrative intervention.   Those checks will automatically be set to "Review" in VolunteerMatters with an "Admin Review" button on the credential details to link the administrator to the report at Intellicorp to be reviewed and scored.  The score will determine whether or not the volunteer is eligible or ineligible for volunteering within the organization.   Only an administrator with login privileges at Intellicorp will be able to login and view/score the report.

To access to the credential details you will log into your system with administrative access and then click on "Credentials" and then from the Credential dashboard click the number under the "Review" column for the background check credential.  This will open the volunteer credentials page with the Background Check credential and the "Review" status pre-populated within the filter and the results will be all those credentials matching it.

Then click on the edit button (little pencil) on the credential you wish to see the details for.

And then click the "Admin Review" button to view the report at Intellicorp.

Once the administrator clicks the Admin Review button a new window or tab will open in their browser and there they can log into Intellicorp with their Intellicorp administrative account. Once logged in they will be presented with the Intellicorp Results Center page with the report in question listed.

They can then click on the subject link and review the report details at Intellicorp and then use the "Enter Score" link to open up the scoring window.

The scoring procedure allows the admin to mark the volunteer Eligible, Needs Review, or Pre Adverse Action.  They can also add notes for review for another administrator.  When the scoring is complete they will check the finalize scoring box and click the "Save New Score" button. For more information on the scoring process and options please contact your Intellicorp support representative.

Once the scoring is complete at Intellicorp, if the volunteer is marked eligible they will be updated automatically as "Approved" within VolunteerMatters.  If the volunteer is deemed ineligible during review and scoring at Intellicorp they will be automatically updated as "Denied" within VolunteerMatters.
